Skype online store now open
The popular eBay-owned VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service Skype has launched the Malaysian edition of its online store selling Skype-certified accessories.
The new site offers VoIP-related items such as stereo headsets and webcams from In Store Solutions. Items available include the Freetalk Wireless headset and Buddy web camera with more products to be added as the shop develops, according to Skype officials.
Available in several countries across Asia Pacific including Singapore and Hong Kong, Skype distinguishes its store from others by certifying all the products to be used with the program and providing free shipping.
Users who have downloaded and installed the new Skype 4.0 will have the “Shop” tab available to them which is a direct link to the store.
